Loon's Equestrian Center is closed during construction of South Mountain and South Peak Resort.

In the meantime, here are a couple of area riding stables for you to enjoy:

Franconia Inn Stables
From the end of May until mid-October, the Franconia Inn Stables offer guided horseback riding excursions along their trail system which meanders along the Ham Branch River, into the foothills of Cannon Mountain and along Easton Valley. This one-hour ride leaves about every hour and a half through the day, from 8am until 3pm most days. It's a good idea to call ahead to sign up: 800-473-5299.
